(“Tera”), a Brazil-based semiconductor memory packaging company, announce the signing of a strategic partnership framework agreement to manufacture and distribute memory and storage solutions in Brazil. The partnership establishes a comprehensive collaboration encompassing equipment consignment, technical exchange, and industrial cooperation.
Brazil represents one of the most strategically significant markets for the global semiconductor industry, underpinned by strong government industrial incentives, a large domestic consumption base, and mandatory local manufacturing requirements. The Brazilian government grants important fiscal incentives to companies manufacturing smartphones and computers locally, with key memory components—including RAM, NAND Flash, SSD modules, DDR4, and DDR5 memory modules—subject to localization mandates of approximately 50%.
Through this collaboration, OEM and electronics customers in Brazil will gain access to a broad range of locally manufactured BIWIN products, including:
